Planning Your Trip

Get ready for your fishing trip by reading through our trip outline, what we recommend you bring and what kind of equipment we use. Have further questions? Feel free to contact us!

Walkthrough of a Trip

  • Pick up or meet client at destination (time will vary based on client’s preferences)

  • Get to dock and go over safety items and rules

  • Discuss the days expectations and what they would like to happen based on the client questionnaire filled out prior to the trip

  • Take boat to first fishing spot of the day and explore various fishing spots based on fishing conditions

  • (Full Day Trip Only) Lunch whenever clients prefer

  • Continue fishing and exploring the beautiful Maine scenery

  • End trip with relaxing boat ride back to the dock

What kind of equipment do you use?

What to Bring

  • A valid Maine fishing license (can be purchased HERE)

  • Sun glasses & sun screen

  • Appropriate jacket for the weather

  • Any medicine you may need for the day

  • A camera!

  • Water Bottle & Snacks (we offer water, soda, juice, granola bars, chips, pretzels, fruit and other various snacks on board, but do have room for personal water bottles & snacks if desired)

  • Any of your own tackle or gear you would like to use

  • Locally sourced flies

  • Daiwa fly fishing poles

  • Cheeky fly fishing reels 

  • Shimmano and TFO spinning reels

  • St. Croix fly and spin fishing poles
